Consignment & Appraisals

One of the most tedious steps in the car-buying process is divesting yourself of an old car. While certainly easier than selling privately, trading a car in at a dealership can leave thousands of dollars on the table. We recommend to clients whenever possible that two transactions be kept entirely separate. To help you get more for your car, we offer a consignment process that requires absolutely no effort on your part.

While we won’t consign vehicles that don’t meet our standards of quality and safety, we’re always happy to give you an honest appraisal of what your vehicle is worth and what you could expect to receive for it in the marketplace. Cars we sell on consignment are given the full benefit of our marketing and advertising efforts. We advertise our consignment vehicles in print publications and on multiple websites simultaneously, including AutoTrader.com, CraigsList.org, Cars.com and vehicle-specific forums and enthusiast sites.

Upon sale of the vehicle, Peachtree Auto Solutions is paid a fee of $600 plus 9% of the selling price (most consignment services charge 15% or more). At that time, we also donate a percentage of the proceeds from the sale to a charity of the buyer’s choosing.
